In India, the Apprentices Act was authorized in 1961. For Graduate, Technician (Polytechnic Diploma holder) and Technician (H.S Vocational-Passed) Apprentices: Department of Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development is in charge of execution of the through four Boards of Apprenticeship Training situated at Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
